The process for purchasing vehicles from the Thompson Bid Sale will be as follows: 

1.      The vehicles available for purchase will be listed on the Thompson Bid Sale website by Wednesday at 3:30PM.

2.      Any known issues with the vehicle's powertrain will be listed in the vehicle description section on the website.  IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU READ THE VEHICLE DESCRIPTION & DISCLOSURES FOUND ON THE BIDDING PAGE. 

3.      Bids will only be accepted through the website.

4.      There will be NO PHYSICAL ACCESS to the vehicles PRIOR to the sale for inspection or test drives. 

5.      All bids must be received by Thursday at 5PM sharp.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

6.      Results of the bid sale will be posted to the website by Friday at 10AM.

7.      Payment for winning bids must be received by the following Monday.  Failure to remit payment by 5PM will void the sale. 

8.      Vehicles will be available for pickup beginning Friday at 12PM.  The pickup hours will be Friday 9AM-3:30 PM , Monday9 AM-3:30PM & Tuesday 9AM-3:30PM.

9.  The pickup procedure will be as follows:

• a. Arrive at the bid lot ready to remit payment.  Checks should be made payable to the appropriate dealership prior to arrival.
• b. A Thompson representative will be there to collect payment and provide you with the keys to the vehicles purchased. 
• c. Vehicles should be removed from the lot at the time of payment.  The lot will be secured at the end of the day, with no access afterhours.

10.  Vehicle titles will be ready for pick up the following Thurday,  Friday or Monday (assuming title is in house). Title pickup will be at the bid lot.  NO TITLE PICK UP WILL BE ALLOWED AT ANY OF THE DEALERSHIP LOCATIONS.  Alternatively, we can mail your title via US MAIL.  Please contact Kim Aronson via email, KIMA@1800THOMPSON.COM
